Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the terms and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log of names or places entered in those boxes.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to review and answer it. Messages remain within our operation unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server and analytics operations can collect technical facts when a page loads:
- Page-view times and the pages visited
- Device type and operating system
- Browser name and version
- Internet Protocol address
- Visit duration and referring site, when supplied
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that support traffic measurement and help show how visitors move through the site. Analytics services combine that activity into general performance reports. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how some features behave.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Camden County Criminal History does not compile, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It explains how to reach Camden County agencies, New Jersey courts, New Jersey State Police, and the New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into a third-party criminal file or a consumer report. New Jersey criminal-history dissemination is separately limited by N.J.S.A. 53:1-20.6 and N.J.A.C. 13:59.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention rules, and sharing practices govern information submitted to those tools. Review the selected provider’s policy before entering a query because this policy does not control its systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Camden County offices, New Jersey Judiciary portals, state agencies, or outside tools. Once a visitor follows one, the destination’s privacy policy controls. Check those terms before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Their tracking practices are outside our direct control.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:

Applicable New Jersey law may provide rights concerning personal data. OPRA, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., governs public-agency records and does not turn this private site into a government custodian. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Request deletion of eligible personal data
- Ask what personal information is retained
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Object to processing where the law provides that choice
